University of Nottingham forcibly removes Occupiers

Security staff from the University of Nottingham have forcibly removed students occupying a lecture theatre with police present. Property of students has been confiscated. Rush calls in protest to the University on 0115 9515151.

N.B.
Supporter Baroness Tonge was denied access to visit the protesters on Saturday evening at about 6pm and addressed them from outside the windows of the occupied lecture theatre.

  3. Yes good Information, not only that recently I found onecollege which is offers beyond-the- classroom experience to students in the rapidly-expanding industries of Health Care, Criminal Justice, Business, and Computers. Don't miss out on great career opportunities.

  4. Why does a University have to make a political stand? I thought they were supposed to be apolitical institutions, where each student's political as well as religious creeds don't interfere with the academic spectrum. If students want to protest they can march on the streets. Invading lecture theatres and interrupting a day in the life of a University seems silly.
